Checking Out Gears of War 3

This past Wednesday, I had a chance to join my fellow Toronto journalists in checking out the upcoming Gears of War 3 Beta at Microsoft Canada. It was a tournament of 8 teams vying for top spot and the prize of...well...I don't actually know what the prize was.


Suffice it to say, our team made it to the semi-final round and were then trounced out by the ultimate winners of the whole shebang. It was a pretty great time-that goes without saying- as Gears 3 is one of my most anticipated games of the year. I'll definitely be looking forward to the beta next week.
