Killzone 3: The Helghast Edition

I am a sucker for collector editions of games. I'll straight up admit it. Normally, if they offer something fantastic, I'll jump on them day one, but if it's a game I'm not particularly excited for, I'll wait for a price drop before I grab them. Killzone 3 was a game I wanted to play as it is just a phenomenal looking game, but I'm not big on FPS games on the PS3 due to the controller.


The Killzone 3 collectors edition is one I wanted to get from day one, but the price was just too much at the time. I do so love special editions that feature large items like the Halo 3 Legendary Edition and the Halo Reach Legendary Edition, which included Master Chief's helmet and a sculpture of the the Noble Team, respectively.

The Killzone 3: Helghast Edition came with a large Helghan Helmet and a smaller figure of a cloaked Helghan Sniper. Both pretty cool, along with an artbook, soundtrack, ingame items and so forth and of course, the game itself. GameStop has Daily Deals, most of which are usually nothing to write home about, but last week they had dropped the price on the Helghast Edition from $129.99, down to $29.99.


That's one hell of a deal and just too hard to pass on. So now as part of my collection, I have a pretty awesome looking Helghast Helmet sitting on my shelf and my only second PS3 game.
