Less Chatter, More Splatter

A couple weeks ago I hit up Sgt. Splatters Paintball with a couple friends. In our group was Justin Amirkhani from Xbox.ca, Marissa Roberto from Electric Playground, her boyfriend Cisko, and Steve Tilley from Reviews on the Run.


I personally have never been to paintball before so I was under the impression you would need to bring a change of clothes in case you get shot and so forth. With my gym bag full of clothes, I took the two hour bus ride there only to find out that they give you overalls to cover your clothes. Oopsie scoopsie.


After we did the brief explanation of how the guns work and whatnot, we got our gear and headed to the field. We were put on a team with about 10 other people and went to it. I think we played about 5 rounds and then called it a day. It was seriously disgusting in the arena, with slime covering just about every surface, but all in all it was a fun time. Although I never shot anyone, at least not to my knowledge, I didn't get popped either, so I'll call it a win.
